At fifty-three, I finally found the missing pieces to a puzzle I had been trying to solve my entire life. My debut memoir chronicles my raw, decades-long battle with chronic illness and the ultimate triumph of finding both the biological answers to my physical pain and the spiritual anchor I didn't know I was missing. As a first-time author, I write with the hard-won wisdom of a survivor, aiming to comfort, educate, and inspire readers to keep seeking truth—both in the body and in the soul. I live with my husband in Denver, Colorado, where I work, write and sing in church.

I also lead a non-profit organization called Safer Aging Ministries (SAM). The cause is elder abuse, fraud and exploitation. The mission is aimed at raising awareness, providing education & support to individuals, families and communities affected by this growing problem. I love you, Mom!
